Unitrends has recently released one of the largest All-In-One backup appliances we have seen.
With 97TB of RAW Capacity, and 50TB of usable backup capacity, the Unitrends 943 is capable of in excess of 1 Petabyte of Backup assuming a 20:1 DeDuplication ratio.
If we factor in 2:1 compression, the Unitrends 943 could hold in excess of 2 Petabytes of Backups.
As with all Unitrends Appliances, you can deploy unlimited WIndows Hyper-V, VMware, Linux, Unix and over 40 other operating systems agents: There are no per–agent fees to pay.
The only thing we would say – don’t try lifting this system on your own!!
